Guidelines
for authors
There are three possible forms of attendance: plenary lectures
from speakers invited by organizers, oral and poster presentations
during sessions of Section of : Aerobiology, Briology, Dendrology,
Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, Geobotany and Vegetation
Protection, History of Botany, Tissue Culture, Lichenology,
Mycology, Botanical Gardens and Arboretums, Paleobotany, Pteridology,
Plant Structure and Development.
Abstracts of all presentations (poster rpresentations included)
will be published in Polish as the Meeting’s proceedings;
and in English as a supplement to Acta Societatis Botanicorum
Poloniae Vol. 55. Please submit abstracts in both languages.
Abstracts of plenary lectures
Abstracts of plenary lectures in Polish and English should
be submitted by e-mail to the address of the Meeting’s secretary
in the form of Word files (version no newer than 2003) with
rtf extension. Please adhere to the example in layout and
punctuation, use font Times New Roman size 9 and line spacing
10 points exactly (PDF. file to
download). Suggested lenght of the abstract is from 3600
to 7200 characters.
Abstracts of oral and poster presentations
Abstracts in Polish and English must be submitted through
editing the registration form. The link to the form is on
the Meeting’s website in bookmark REGISTRATION,
RESERVATION. An abstract may be submitted once, by one
participant only. If there are more authors, the abstract
should be submitted by one of them, we suggest the first one.
While filling in the space for the abstract, please follow
the layout and punctuation of the example (PDF
file for download). Please, give full name of the author
as well as the surname. Please pay special attention to punctuation
in the field affiliation and follow the model. The sum number
of characters in all fields cannot surpass 1800. The number
of characters in the title field is multiplied by index 1.5,
in the field for the name and surname of the author by 1.1.
The programme will automatically inform you when the limit
is reached. The authors take full responsibility for the content
of the abstract as their will be no content editing.
Posters
Recommended poster size is A0 (81cm width / 118,9 cm). Maximum
size of a poster is 113 cm width and 143 cm length and is
limited by the size of the stands.
Posters will be mounted on numbered cork boards and fixed
with thumbtacks provided by the organizers. Every poster submitted
will be given a number corresponding to the number on the
board.
